Terms of Agreement
Short Term/Site Based Independent Study
Independent Study is a totally voluntary program and no student can be forced to enroll. The methods of study for the pupil’s work as assigned by the supervising teacher, to meet the educational objectives per established district guidelines, will be written on assignment sheets. The students entering AESD Short Term Independent Study Program have not waived any rights as a student and are entitled to all AESD School District services and resources.
All homework is due to the teacher on the assignment due date which will be the next school day after the ending date of the duration of the contract. Completed assignments will be averaged in with the student’s current grades. The Agreement for Short Term/Site Based Independent Study is for absences less than 15 school days.
It is agreed that the forenamed student will complete all of the work assigned and return the work at a time designated by the teacher. The student will be loaned the necessary books, technology, and materials needed to complete the work as determined by the teacher. The quality of work in the completed assignments will be judged by the teacher with the same standards used in the regular classroom.
We have read the terms of this agreement and hereby agree to all the conditions set forth within. This independent study master agreement is not valid unless all of the signatures below are obtained prior to the beginning date of the contract listed above.
Do not continue, if you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement.

Estudio Independiente de Corto Plazo / Basado por Escuela
El estudio independiente es un programa totalmente voluntario y ningún estudiante puede ser obligado a inscribirse. Los métodos de estudio para el trabajo del estudiante asignado por el maestro supervisor, para cumplir con los objetivos educativos según las regulaciones establecidas por el distrito, se escribirán en las páginas de asignaturas. Los estudiantes que ingresan al Programa de Estudio Independiente a Corto Plazo de AESD no han renunciado a ningún derecho como estudiantes y tienen derecho a todos los servicios y recursos del Distrito Escolar de AESD.
Todos los trabajos deben entregarse al maestro en la fecha de vencimiento del trabajo, que será el próximo día escolar después de la fecha de finalización de la duración del contrato. Los trabajos completados se promediarán con las calificaciones actuales del estudiante. El Acuerdo Principal para el Estudio Independiente a Corto Plazo / Basado por Escuela es para ausencias de menos de 15 días escolares.
Se ha acordado que el estudiante nombrado completará todo el trabajo asignado y devolverá el trabajo a la hora designada por el maestro. Se le prestará al estudiante los libros, la tecnología y los materiales necesarios para completar el trabajo según lo determine el maestro. La calidad del trabajo en las asignaciones completadas será evaluada por el maestro con los mismos estándares utilizados en el salón de clases regular.
Hemos leído los términos de este acuerdo y por la presente aceptamos todas las condiciones establecidas en el mismo. Este acuerdo principal de estudio independiente no es válido a menos que todas las firmas a continuación sean obtenidas antes de la fecha de inicio del contrato mencionado anteriormente.
No continúe si no está de acuerdo con los términos de este Acuerdo.
